The Lebanese Diaspora Can Now Vote In Their Country of residence

Lebanese? Want to vote but living abroad? No problem, you can vote in the upcoming elections in your residence country.
The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has launched an online page for the registration of eligible voters who are currently not residing in Lebanon. The page can be accessed from the ministry's official website, or you can type "diasporavote.mfa.gov.lb". The page is available in five languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, and French.

The procedure is quite easy, and requires a few minutes to fill your information. You'll also need to upload an image of your Lebanese passport or ID, in addition to a document proving your residence abroad (e.g. residence card, foreign passport). After you finish, it shows your application status as "submitted". You have to wait until your application is reviewed, and once everything is approved, you'll be able to download a certain bar-code that will be used for the election process.
Alternatively, you can go to your nearest embassy or diplomatic mission and register there.
You have until November 20, 2017 to register in both cases. Don't miss this opportunity to make your voice heard.
